Six surplus postings are open. Pick one and Harvest re-solves the board against every agency's live need profile, capacity and clock. Scores are computed in the browser from the objective weights below — move a slider and the ranking changes in front of you.
Open surplus
—Objective weights
Equity weighting pushes food toward census tracts with higher food-insecurity prevalence and thinner existing coverage. Set it to zero and the engine optimizes purely for speed and fit — which reliably concentrates deliveries in the easiest-to-reach neighborhoods.
Select a posting
In the field this is a photograph — a vision model fills these fields and the manager confirms. Here you enter them by hand so the shelf-life model is visible. The predicted safe window is what every downstream decision is scored against.
New surplus posting
An agency sets this once. Harvest matches against it continuously — the pantry never refreshes a feed or races anyone to claim a posting. Capacity shown is remaining cooler and dry space for today.
Accepted matches are bundled into multi-stop runs with time windows and refrigeration constraints. Runs are sized to fit inside one commute detour — that constraint, not driver enthusiasm, is what keeps volunteer supply alive.
Session totals from the matches you've dispatched, plus the Charleston pilot's year-one projection for context. Meal equivalence uses the USDA convention of 1.2 lb per meal.

Prototype. The agencies, donors and postings on this screen are realistic fabrications for demonstration, not real organizations or real inventory. Scores are computed live by the scoring function in this page; the shelf-life, demand-forecast and routing models described in the business plan are represented here by deterministic stand-ins. Year-one figures are projections.
